Derek M. Sheldon

entrepreneur, developer, inventor, and media specialist who thinks outside the box determined to make an impact to benefit mankind.

Hi, I’m Derek. I consider myself a self-starting entrepreneur, inventor, and media specialist. I have contributed, developed, and project managed several international digital media projects, ranging from prime market web development projects for Fortune 100/500 businesses and local businesses, a top 50 iOS application LowRx, and other marketing projects over the span of the last 10 years.

As an inventor, I developed the most technologically advanced pet collar, The Arden Collar and a solar powered digital SUHD marketing display which interacts with mobile applications via Bluetooth™ called the airPanel™. I currently am listed as the inventor of a world-wide utility patent pending on GPS/GSM/Active RFID pet collar technology US20160135431 and a design patent for the airPanel™

I am currently developing my most impressive core project and my mission to "change the world" called Happy. I consider Happy my finest conception and my "John Nash" moment. Happy is a diverse hyper adapting currency platform (H.A.P.P.Y) which is poised to change everything we know about currency for the future. Happy is backed by intrinsic value, assets (i.e., gold and silver), and stocks. Happy's prime mission to complete many philanthropical goals and has exceedingly high expectations to offer a product to make the world a better place. Happy’s currency platform is built solely for mainstreet who are typically unfamiliar with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The primary strategy is to capture the primary focus of the masses and transcend Happy as leader of the cryptocurrency market.

" I do not believe in failure. I believe failures are tools for the "tool box of life" and are there to bestow knowledge on how to do it better the next round.  There must always be a next time...”

I am a passionate, hard working individual. Sometimes my laser focus of determination is a gift, sometimes it is a curse. I tend to work far too much, but I truly love what I do. I believe you must always love what you do to be truly great at it. Time is the most important commodity and one must use it to the best of their ability.

My success comes from the model that I cannot settle for less than perfection in the expectations of my work output and my response time is in minutes to those who have need of me. I am truly dedicated to my career, my success, my personal growth, and the success of others who are my partners and employees. I am a fiercely determined person who takes the "never surrender" approach. I believe only passion and steadfast unwavering determination is the secret to the path to success. I do not believe in failure. I believe failures are tools for the "tool box of life" and are there to bestow knowledge on how to do it better the next round. There must always be the next time, no matter what the cost or the personal sacrifice.

When I am not working I enjoy watching a thought-provoking documentary or watching movies based on biographic and historical themes. I also like to drive fast cars - probably not such a swell idea for my partners and investors but you only live once. My favorite hobby is to learn. I love to learn anything and everything that I can. I believe knowledge is far more powerful than fortune or fame. The person with the most knowledge always will prove victorious. I am an avid student of the great "Robber Barons" of US History. I believe their lessons of business acumen are still relevant to this day - minus some of the more controversial tactics. Flawed as they were, their passioned determination and the "winner takes it" all methodology teaches us to endure no matter what era. It is not their fortune which fascinates me, it was their journey from the bottom to the top.

On a personal note, I have a wonderful mother who works at Albright College as Director of Advancement and a sister who graduated from Villanova Law School and currently practices in criminal, medical cannabis, and family law. I am quite blessed with the small gifts I have in this life. I believe if I can wake up, can walk, and the people I love are still there to talk to - it was a good day.

If asked where do I see myself in the future in 30 years, if I am blessed to be here, I would like to follow the footsteps of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Andrew Carnegie and devote my life to helping others and philanthropy.
